Hi, I’m Fiona! I'm a UK-based freelance UX​/​UI designer specialising in marketplaces. I work with founders who are building on Sharetribe and want help designing a marketplace that works seamlessly in the real world, and looks beautiful. That includes no-code Sharetribe configuration, as well as UX​/​UI design for marketplaces that are extending their product with custom features and custom development. I’ve been designing digital products for over 10 years, and for the past 5 I’ve focused almost entirely on marketplaces. I’ve designed core marketplace flows like onboarding, listings, search, pricing, availability, checkout, and post-purchase experiences many times over — so I’m very familiar with the patterns, trade-offs, and edge cases that tend to show up. I’ve also been in your shoes. I founded and ran my own Sharetribe marketplace (which has since closed), so I understand first-hand the pressure of making the right product decisions with limited time, budget, and information. That experience heavily shapes how I work. I’m practical, honest, and focused on helping you build what actually matters right now, without overcomplicating things. 💸 How my pricing works

For small, contained pieces of work (for example designing a specific feature, improving an existing flow), I usually work on a fixed price with a clearly agreed scope. Pricing depends on complexity, but typically starts from around £2,000. No-code Sharetribe configuration projects are also fixed price. For simpler builds, that’s usually from around £3,000, depending on what’s required. For larger projects where the scope isn’t fully defined yet, I normally recommend starting with a short scoping phase. This is a fixed-fee piece of work (usually £2,500–£3,500) where we properly define your MVP, prioritise features, map key user journeys and sense-check what actually needs to be built. It helps avoid unnecessary complexity and saves time and development cost later. After that, most larger projects move onto a monthly retainer — often around 4 days per month. This gives you steady, structured product and UX support as your marketplace grows, rather than trying to design everything upfront.
