1. Create an account

Create an account in the Sharetribe Experts marketplace by clicking “Sign up” in the top bar. Choose the user type “Marketplace founder”. Or click on this link to go directly to the founder signup.

Creating an account is quick and easy: just enter your email, name, and a password, and click to sign up. Verify your email address and you’re ready to contact Experts (or submit your requirements).

2. Search and browse Experts

Only individuals and agencies vetted by Sharetribe can create an Expert profile.

Use filters in the sidebar menu to narrow down your search.

Click the Expert profile you're interested in.

3. View Expert profile and send a message

You can see more details about an Expert on their profile. Each Expert has information about their experience and services in their bio. They share a website if they have one. Their primary location and languages they use are also visible. The features Experts think they are best at building are also specified.

You can contact the Expert by pressing the "Send a message" button.

A new page opens where you can write your message and send it.

For maximum smoothness, consider adding these details to your message:

• What do you need from the Expert
• What have you done already (include your Sharetribe test marketplace URL, for example)
• Contact details, if you'd prefer to communicate off-platform (email, Whatsapp,...)
• What questions you have already

Experts are notified about your message as soon as it is sent.

4. View the Experts you contacted and message in your inbox

Every Expert you contact creates a new message. All your messages to Experts are located in the "Inquiries to Experts" section of your Inbox.

Responses from individual Experts will be visible in the message between you. You will be notified via email when Experts respond to your messages on this marketplace.

Note that any proposals you received are located in the "Proposals from Experts" section.
