Sharetribe Experts is a marketplace where Sharetribe customers looking to extend their marketplace with code can submit feature requirements and receive proposals from Sharetribe-vetted designers and software developers.

Create a profile on Sharetribe Experts Marketplace through this link.

Include the following information in your profile:

• Name: Your full name
• Email: Email address for marketplace communications
• Business name (if you represent an agency)
• Contact email: The email address where you want to receive customer communications
• Location (country): Where you’re based.
• “Book a call" calendar link: A link where customers can book a call with you
• Website (optional): Business website/portfolio

Accept the terms and and privacy policy and sign up. After clicking sign up, verify your email address.

After creating your profile, you’ll get an invitation to a private Slack channel. You’ll get notified about all new requests through Slack.

Review a request and send a proposal through the marketplace.

Click “Send a proposal” on the request page and include some or all of the following information in your initial message:

• Quote/Hourly rate
• Estimated time of delivery
• Link to book a call
• Other contact information such as email
• Additional information about yourself or your company

A customer can receive multiple proposals and will decide on who to hire based on the proposals and further discussions.

The top bar link to proposals is tailored to founders. You can find the proposals you’ve made here. The page includes all proposals you’ve sent.

Once a founder has found an Expert, they will close the request. No further proposals can be sent and the request will no longer be visible on the search page.
